HOW WE STERILIZE OUR CLAMPS AND TAPERED INSERTION PINS

We sterilize our clamps and tapered insertion pins because it’s impossible to use a new clamp or tapered insertion pin for every piercing or stretching.

In this text we will explain you a little how we clean and sterilize our equipment.

While a piercing or a stretching is done the body might bleed a little bit, so it’s possible that there remains some blood on the clamp or tapered insertion pin. To make sure the blood doesn’t become dry and hard to remove, We put the hardware after usage into the pre-soak box.

this box contains a solution of water and a cleaning product. After the piercing is done the needles go into the sharps bin.

At the end of the day we take the box

into the cleaning room and put everything into the ultrasonic with a cleaning solution. the clamps stay in there for about 1 hour.

when we take the clamps and tapered insertion pins out of the ultrasonic, we let them air dry for about 1 hour.

If we are sure all equipment is dry, then we put everything into autoclave bags.

From the cleaning room the clamps and tapered insertion pins go into the autoclave.

after this cycle everything is sterile and ready to give you a clean and sterile service.
